Описание

    The combination of amoxicillin and colistin has additive action. Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic broad-spectrum penicillin with a bactericidal action against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The spectrum of amoxicillin includes Кампилобактер виды, Clostridium виды, Corynebacterium виды, кишечная палочка, Erysipelothrix виды, Гемофильная палочка виды, Пастерелла виды, Сальмонелла spp., penicillinase-negative Стафилококк виды клятва стрептококк spp. The bactericidal action is due to inhibition of cell wall synthesis. Amoxicillin is mainly excreted in urine. A major part can also be excreted in bile. Colistin is an antibiotic from the group of polymyxins with a bactericidal action against Gram-negative bacteria, like кишечная палочка, Гемофильная палочка виды клятва Сальмонелла spp. Since colistin is absorbed for a very small part after oral administration, only gastrointestinal indications are relevant.

    Gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by amoxicillin- and colistin-sensitive microorganisms, like Кампилобактер виды, Clostridium виды, Corynebacterium виды, кишечная палочка, Erysipelothrix виды, Гемофильная палочка виды, Пастерелла виды, Сальмонелла spp., penicillinase-negative Стафилококк виды клятва стрептококк spp. in calves, sheep, goats, swine and poultry.  

Противопоказания

Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin and/or colistin. Administration to animals with a seriously impaired renal function. Concurrent administration of tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides. Administration to animals with an active microbial digestion.

Побочные эффекты

Hypersensitivity reactions, renal dysfunction, neurotoxicity and neuromuscular blockade.

Дозировка

  For oral administration. Calves, sheep and goats: Twice daily, 5 g per 100 kg body weight for 3 – 5 days. Swine and poultry: 1 kg per 1000 – 2000 litres of drinking water for 3 – 5 days. Note: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only. Before adding to the drinking water make a presolution of 1 kg Dimoxan WS per 20 litres of water with a temperature of 40 °C.

  – For meat: 8 days. Not for use in poultry producing eggs for human consumption.
