ASHULPHA 33.3% Injection

COMPOSITION: Each ml contains Sulfadiazine….200 mg Trimethoprim…40mg Excipienta…. q.s INDICATIONS: Indicated in the treatment of wide range of diseases of bacterial origin. Particularly effective in the infectious respiratory, urogenital and alimentary tracts. The combination of Sulfadiazine and Trimethoprim acta synergistic and usually bactericidal against many Gram-positive and Gram- negative bacteria like E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus app. Treatment of gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections in Cattle, Calves, Sheep, Goats, Horse, Foal and Pigs. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Cattle, Calves, Sheep, Goats and Piga The recommended dose is 1 ml product per 16 kg body weight by intramuscular or slow intravenous injection, once daily until 2 days after symptoma resolve up to a maximum of 5 days. The maximum intramuscular volume of injection per injection site is 5 ml for pigs and 15 ml in cattle. The veterinary medicinal product may be administered by intravenous injection when blood levels of Trimethoprim and Sulfadiazine are required more rapidly Dogs and Cata The recommended done rate in 1 ml product per 8 kg body weight, by subcutaneous injection only once daily until days after symptoma resolve up to a maximum of 5 days. The recommended injection site in dogs is the loose sian at the top of the neck. The closures must not be punctured more than 40 times Horses and Foal 10 ml per 200 kg bw daily by intravenous (IV) injection only
