Dextrose provides energy and enhances sodium absorption in the intestine. Sodium absorption is also enhanced by the addition of the amino acid glycine. By enhancing sodium uptake, water will follow and hence rehydration is improved. During diarrhea, sodium and chloride losses are substantial. By administration of Electromix WS these losses can be compensated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"otherAttributes\">\n<h2>Dosage<\/h2>\n<p>For oral administration through drinking water.<\/p>\n<p>Calves, cattle, goats, sheep and swine:<br \/>\nTwice daily 40 g per litre of drinking water for 2 &#8211; 4 days.<\/p>\n<p>Poultry:<br \/>\n1 kg per 1000 &#8211; 1500 litres of drinking water for 2 &#8211; 4 days.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description\">\n<h2>Packaging<\/h2>\n<div class=\"std\">Sachet of 100 g and jar of 1000 g.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!-- .vgblk-rw-wrapper --><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Composition Dextrose \u2013 558 mg.
