MEVAC™ MULTI IB+H9+ND

MEVAC™ MULTI IB+H9+ND is an inactivated pentavalent vaccine for immunization against IBV (Classic M41, GI-13 and GI-23 strains)LPAI subtype H9N2 oath ND GII virus. Target Species – Chickens. Composition (before inactivation)
  • Inactivated Avian Infectious Bronchitis Virus, GI-1 lineage (classic) [IBV-EG/M41-ME01/2011] ≥ 7.0 log10 EID50/dose.
  • Inactivated Avian Infectious Bronchitis Virus, GI-13 (variant-1) [ME/IBV-VAR1/2017] ≥ 7.0 log10 EID50/dose.
  • Inactivated Avian Infectious Bronchitis Virus, GI-23 (variant-2) [Eg/1212B] ≥ 7.0 log10 EID50/dose.
  • Inactivated Low Pathogenic Avian influenza H9N2 subtype [A/Chicken/Egypt/ME543V/2016] belonging to G1 lineage ≥ 8.5 log10 EID50/dose.
  • Inactivated Newcastle Disease Virus GII LaSota strain [NDV/Chicken/Egypt/11478AF/2011] ≥ 8.5 log10 EID50/dose.
Indications For booster immunization of chickens to protect against Avian Infectious Bronchitis (GI-1, GI-13, and GI-23 lineages), Low Pathogenic Avian influenza H9N2 subtype, and Newcastle Disease. Vaccination Program Birds can be vaccinated from 14 days of age onwards, as per advice from your poultry veterinarian. A booster dose may be required in case of high-risk seasons and areas. For optimal booster effects, the birds should be primed with live NDV and IBV vaccines. Dosage The vaccine dose (0.5 mL/bird) should be administered subcutaneously in the lower part of the neck or intramuscularly in the thigh or breast muscles. Administration
  • Subcutaneous injection: in the lower part of the neck. The needle should be inserted just under the skin in a direction away from the head and in a straight line with the neck.
  • Intramuscular injection: in the breast muscles by inserting the needle with a 45° angle to avoid intraperitoneal injection.
MEVAC™ MULTI IB+H9+ND is packed and presented in 250 mL (500 doses),  300 mL (600 doses) and 500 mL (1000 doses) bottles.
