Inactivated trivalent vaccine against infectious coryza disease


General information

CORYVAC™ Avibacterium paragallinarum It is an inactivated trivalent vaccine designed for the immunization of chickens against Infectious Coryza disease caused by serotypes A, B and C.


Target animal

  • Chickens


Ingredients (not inactivated)

  • Inactive trivalent water-oil emulsion against infectious coryza disease

  • At least 1.5 x 10⁸ of each serotype Avibacterium paragallinarum bacteria


Indications for use

It is used to protect chickens from clinical signs and mortality of Infectious Coryza disease.


Vaccination program

  • Vaccination time: It is applied to chickens aged 8-16 weeks, based on the recommendation of your veterinarian.

  • Second dose: It should be injected 3-4 weeks after the first dose, at least 2 weeks before ovulation begins.

  • Development of immunity: After 3 weeks after the first vaccination.

  • Duration of immunity: A two-dose regimen provides protection for 6-8 weeks. A repeat dose is required for laying and breeding hens.

Note: Sick or immunocompromised chickens should not be vaccinated. Do not mix with other veterinary products.


Dosage and method of administration

  • Dosage: 0.5 mL per chicken

  • Application method:

    • Subcutaneous injection into the lower neck (needle under the skin, away from the head, in a straight line).

    • Intramuscular injection into the pectoral or thigh muscle (the needle should be inserted at a 45° angle, taking care not to enter the abdominal cavity).


Packaging

  • 500 mL (1000 doses) polyethylene bottle.
