Composition and Analysis

COMPOSITION:

In each ml:
Oxytetracycline dihydrate (Oxytetracycline equivalent)…………..200 mg
Excipient………………………………………………………………………………qs

INDICATIONS:

ASHOXY 20% LA It is used to treat infections of the gastrointestinal, respiratory and genital tracts caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline. These include the following microorganisms:
Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp.

Animal tips:

  • Cow: Treatment of pasteurellosis, pneumonia, metritis, pyometra, mastitis, keratoconjunctivitis (pink eye) and foot rot

  • Sheep: Pneumonia and bacterial dysentery

  • Pig: Pasteurella pneumonia and MMA complex

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

1 ml per 10 kg of live weight ASHOXY 20% LA injection is applied.

  • In the cow: No more than 10 ml of medication should be injected into a single injection site.

  • In sheep and pigs: No more than 5 ml should be administered per injection site.

  • In pigs weighing less than 10 kg: A maximum of 1 ml should be used.
