Instructions for Use

For active immunization of commercial chickens against Infectious Bursal Disease.
Vaccination Program
-
Chickens can be vaccinated after they are 12 days old, on the advice of your veterinarian.

Development of immunity: 2 weeks after the first vaccination.

Duration of immunity: Protective effect for up to 6 weeks with a single dose.

The vaccine should not be administered to immunosuppressed chickens.

The optimal age for vaccination should be decided after determining the level of maternally transmitted antibody (MDA).
Application method
-
The vaccine is administered through drinking water.
-
The vaccine is in the form of lyophilized pellets and must be prepared with disinfectant and antiseptic-free, non-chlorinated water before use.

Chickens should be kept without water for 2 hours before vaccination.
-
For 1000 chickens, 1000 doses of pellets are dissolved in 3-5 ml of chlorine-free water and then diluted to the total volume of chlorine-free water to be drunk within 1-2 hours.

If tap water is used, 2.5 grams of skim milk powder should be added to each liter of water to neutralize the chlorine in the water.
