Composition and Analysis

Oxytetracycline 5.5% & Vitamins Soluble Powder

Ingredients (in 1 gram of powder):

  • Oxytetracycline hydrochloride – 55 mg

  • Vitamin A (retinol acetate) – 5,000 IU

  • Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) – 1750 IU

  • Vitamin E (ɑ-tocopherol acetate) – 3.5 mg

  • Vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride) – 0.5 mg

  • Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) – 3 mg

  • Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) – 0.3 mg

  • Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) – 2.5 μg

  • Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) – 12 mg

  • Calcium pantothenate – 3 mg

  • Vitamin K3 (menadione sodium bisulfite) – 5.6 mg

  • Nicotinamide – 15 mg

  • Folic acid – 0.3 mg

  • Choline chloride – 12 mg

Description:
Oxytetracycline belongs to the group of tetracyclines and has a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic effect. It is effective against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Vitamins contribute to the proper functioning of the body.

Usage Instructions:
Limovit WS is a combination of antibacterial and vitamins, stimulates egg production, increases growth, improves feed utilization and is used as a vitamin supplement during periods of illness and stress. It is effective in the treatment of infections (gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract).

Prohibitions:

  • Sensitivity to tetracyclines

  • Kidney and liver dysfunction

  • Concomitant administration of penicillin, cephalosporin, quinolone, and cycloserine

  • Disruption of the active digestive system of microbes

Side Effects:
No adverse effects are expected when used at the recommended dosage.

Dosage:

  • Horned animals (calves, sheep, goats): 1 gram per 5 kg of body weight, 5-7 days.

  • Pigs and birds:

    • Prevention: 1 kg / 2000 liters of water, 5-7 days.

    • Treatment: 1 kg / 1000 liters of water, 5-7 days.

Waiting Periods:

  • For meat: 7 days

  • For eggs: 1 day
