Amoxicillin trihydrate – 500 mg
Description:
Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum bactericidal penicillin that acts on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Its action is based on inhibiting the development of the peptidoglycan structure of the bacterial cell wall. It is well absorbed after oral administration and is stable in gastric acid. It is excreted mainly unchanged by the kidneys and creates high concentrations in the kidney tissue. In birds, amoxicillin is distributed and excreted more rapidly.
