Composition and Analysis

FUROSEMIDE 50 mg/ml Solution for injection


Ingredients:

Each 1 ml of solution contains:

  • Furosemide ………………………………………………… 50 mg

  • Water for injection ……………………………… enough (enough)


Instructions for use:

For Dogs, Cats and Horses:

  • Removal of excess extracellular fluid accumulated in the body.

  • Conditions accompanied by edema:

    • Pulmonary edema

    • Ascites (fluid accumulation in the abdominal cavity) – associated with heart failure

    • Fluid accumulation in the tissues (edema)

  • In racehorses:

    • Prevention of exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage (EID)

For cows:

  • Edema of the mammary glands in the postpartum period (post parturient udder edema) elimination


Dosage and Application Instructions:

It is administered only as an intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection.


Dogs and Cats:
  • 2 – 5 mg/kg according to body weight once a day or

  • 2 times a day every 6-8 hours

  • Natural size: 0.5 – 1 ml per 10 kg animal injection


Cows and Horses:
  • 0.5 – 1 mg/kg according to body weight

  • 1 or 2 times a day, At intervals of 6 – 8 hours

  • Natural size: 5 – 10 ml injection, until the desired effect is achieved

Note:

  • Treatment in cows maximum 48 hours after birth should continue throughout.
