INDICATIONS:
Diroheart, which causes heart disease in dogs Dirofilaria immitis It is used to eliminate the tissue stage of heartworm larvae within 30 days (one month) of infection. It is also used for the treatment and control of Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (roundworms) and Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma braziliense (hookworms).

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Give Diroheart (ivermectin/pyrantel) tablets by mouth at monthly intervals, in the following doses:

• Ivermectin: 6 mcg per kilogram of body weight (2.72 mcg/lb)

• Pyrantel (as pamoate salt): 5 mg per kilogram of body weight (2.27 mg/lb)

• Diroheart is recommended for dogs 6 weeks of age and older.

• A mixture of these tablets should be given to ensure appropriate dosages in dogs larger than 45 kg.
